Alarm going off, pit overflowing, sewage backing up, or a pump that's finally failed — call now and we'll get to you. After-hours and weekend callouts, same day in most cases. Pump specialists since 1985.
Pumps fail quietly until they don't. These are the signs it has stopped keeping up — and the point where a phone call saves you a flood.
A beeping panel or a red light usually means the pump has stopped keeping up and the pit is filling. It won't clear itself — the sooner we're on the phone, the more options you have.
Water or sewage rising to the top of the pit is the point where waiting starts costing you. Stop adding to it and call straight away.
A sewage smell near the pit, or waste water coming back up through the lowest drain in the house, points to a pump that isn't shifting what it should.
A pump that runs and runs without cutting out usually means a stuck float, or a pump that can't keep up with the inflow. Either way it's working far harder than it should — left going, it overheats and burns out.
A pump that keeps tripping the power, or stays silent when the pit is clearly filling, has a fault that needs looking at before it floods.
Strata stormwater pits and basement carparks don't have long before water becomes a real problem. After-hours building faults are exactly what callouts are for.
Recognise any of these? Don't wait for it to overflow.
📞 Call 0415 210 267A few simple things buy you time and stop a bad situation getting worse while we're on our way.
Hold off on showers, washing, dishwashers and flushing where you can. The less that goes into the pit, the longer you have before it overflows.
If the power keeps tripping, leave it off and call us. Forcing a circuit breaker back on over and over can overheat and burn out the motor — and if it's the safety switch (RCD) tripping, it's detecting a real electrical fault, so each reset just re-energises a live shock and fire hazard.
Don't lift the lid, reach in, or touch water pooling around it. The pump runs on mains power, so if there's an electrical fault the water in or around the pit can be live — a genuine electrocution risk. Keep kids and pets well away until we get there.
If there's an alarm panel, have a quick look at which lights are on, or read out the label when you call. It helps us turn up with the right parts.
On the phone now beats waiting until morning. We pick up after hours.
📞 0415 210 267Most callouts get the system running again on the first visit. A fouled or jammed float freed, a blocked impeller cleared, a failed non-return valve replaced, an alarm or control panel fault traced and fixed. Because we connect the pump-side electrical ourselves under our Restricted Electrical Licence, a pump fault doesn't turn into a second wait for a separate trade.
When a pump has genuinely reached the end, we carry common pumps and parts, so a replacement can often happen the same visit rather than leaving you stuck. And if the right pump for your pit has to come in, we'll get the system safe and tell you the plan on the spot — not patch it and leave you to fail again next week.
Sewer pumps, stormwater pits, strata pumps, basement and carpark systems — it's the focus of the business, and has been since 1985.
We keep it simple and we keep it honest. You get a clear price before any work starts — a callout fee, then the time and any parts the job needs. No surprise bill at the end.
We charge per visit, the same as any other job. No subscriptions, no auto-renewals, and no membership to sign up to before we'll help you. If the fault can safely wait until regular hours, we'll tell you that too.
Every job is backed by our workmanship guarantee, with the manufacturer's warranty on any new pump, and the paperwork to match at handover.
When you're stressed and the pit is filling, the last thing you want is to wonder who's turning up. Here's what backs the van.

Plumbing and drainage work is carried out to the AS/NZS 3500 standard family — the benchmark for compliant work across Sydney.
Issued by NSW Fair Trading under the disconnect/reconnect framework (UEERL0004). We connect the pump and alarm, set up the control panel and fit the overload protection ourselves; your electrician runs the supply.
Statement of Attainment from Pinnacle Safety and Training (RTO 40496). Deep pits and confined spaces are part of the trade — most residential pits never need it, but when one does, we're set up for it.
Public liability and workers compensation cover in place across all work, with certificates of currency available on request.
A plumbing trade since 1985, focused on sewer and stormwater pumps since 2010 — the work we do day in, day out, not a sideline. You deal with the same operators from first call through to commissioning.

The questions people ask when a pump's gone wrong.
When a pump fails it rarely picks business hours to do it. We take after-hours and weekend callouts across Sydney, day and night, public holidays included — and you reach someone who works on pumps every day, not a message bank. Call 0415 210 267 and tell us what's happening.
Same day in most cases, and after hours when it can't wait. We'll be straight with you on the phone about when we can realistically be there — we'd rather give you an honest time than a number that sounds good and then runs late.
A beeping panel or red light usually means the pump has stopped keeping up and the pit is filling. It won't clear on its own. It's worth a phone call straight away so we can work out whether it needs us tonight or first thing tomorrow.
Stop using water and drains so nothing more goes into the pit, keep clear of the pit itself, and call us. The less that goes in, the longer you have before it overflows. Then phone 0415 210 267 and we'll talk you through the rest.
A lot of callouts get the system running again on the first visit — a fouled float freed, a jammed impeller cleared, a non-return valve or control fault sorted. If a part has to be ordered or a full replacement is the right call, we'll tell you that on site rather than patching it and leaving you to fail again next week.
Often, yes. We carry common parts and pumps, so where a replacement is the sensible fix we can usually get a new pump in and running rather than leaving you waiting. If the right pump for your pit has to come in, we'll get the system safe and tell you the plan.
You'll get a clear price before any work starts — a callout fee, then the time and any parts the job needs. No surprise bill at the end, and no subscription or membership to sign up to. We charge per visit, the same as any other job.
Yes. Sewer pumps, stormwater pits, strata pumps, basement and carpark systems — it's the focus of the business. After-hours building faults, where water becomes a problem quickly, are exactly the sort of thing callouts are for.
Then we'll tell you. If it can safely wait, we'll say so and book you in properly rather than charging you for an after-hours visit you didn't need. Straight answers cost us nothing and keep you calling us next time.
The Sutherland Shire is home base, and we cover the Northern Beaches, Lower North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and across greater Sydney. Not sure if you're in range? Call and ask — we'll be honest about it.
