Do you service and repair Flygt pumps?
Yes — Flygt submersibles in strata, commercial and industrial pits are regular work for us across Sydney. Do you install new Flygt systems?
We do, where the duty calls for it — big strata buildings, commercial kitchens and loading docks, industrial sites where the pumps work hard every day. We size to the real inflow and head, install and commission the pumps, floats, valves and panel as one job. If your site doesn't genuinely need that grade of pump, we'll tell you straight — a lighter-duty unit will often serve the system just as well.
Is a Flygt overkill for a normal house?
Often, in our experience, yes. Flygt earned its name on hard commercial and industrial duty, and that's where it shines. For a single dwelling with ordinary flows, a well-sized domestic-grade unit usually does everything the system asks of it. We recommend on what the pit actually has to do — not on the badge.
My Flygt has stopped — is it worth repairing?
Test first, decide second. If the motor still meggers well, the fault is usually a float, a non-return valve or a jammed impeller — all quick, worthwhile repairs. If the insulation reading says moisture has reached the windings, the motor is on borrowed time, and a replacement onto your existing pit and pipework is usually the better call. Either way you get the readings and a straight answer on the spot.
